Ireland declares full lockdown

Following the Irish government's decision, for the spread of the new coronavirus strain, it will declare a fifth-level, full lockdown.

Under the new decree, the transport movement between regions remains prohibited.

Irish citizens will be allowed to host only one family as a guest for the New Year.

Starting January 1, 2021, all the visits will be banned.

The lockdown will continue until at least January 12.

Ireland starts vaccination on December 30.
