As Kakhetian winemakers say, the region experiences a deficit of workforce per season, and people from other municipalities arrive there to work.
They say the workforce price is at least 40 GEL.
Farmer Otar Berdzenishvili says that the employment increase in factories is the reason for it and states that the seasonal workers started working in wine factories.
''In fact, cheap workforce vanished in the villages… and we bring them from other regions,'' Berdzenishvili says.
The workforce deficit was also observed last year. The cost was 25 GEL in 2019, and it teetered up to 50 GEL.
