Agriculture related products hold an important place in Georgia's export.
According to a PMCG 2008-2018 study, hazelnuts and walnuts(5% of total exports) are leaders in agricultural export followed by wine (4.5%) and alcoholic beverages (3.7%).
According to PMCG, exports of hazelnuts with growing export potential have dramatically decreased in 2018 due to Asian brown marmorated stink bug and other diseases.
