The Namakhvani hydropower plant (HPP) worth $800 million will not be constructed in Georgia after ENKA Renewable decided to cancel the agreement with the Georgian government.
The statement by ENKA İNŞAAT, the parent company of Enka Renewables, says that the violation of the agreement conditions and force majeure led them to the decision to terminate the contract concluded with the Georgian government on 25 April 2019.
