“If flights with Russia are resumed in the near future, it will be a positive turn of events for Georgia,” declared Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava after the extraordinary parliamentary session.
“I, as the Minister of Economy, can confirm that the existing statistical data clearly show that suspended flights with Russia have seriously damaged us. As per the eight-month data by the National Bank, international tourism revenue has reduced,” stated Turnava and added that anything bringing about positive economic results in our country is beneficial for us.
