''The number of fatal incidents at workplaces has decreased by about 30%, while the number of non-fatal incidents dropped by 20%,'' Beka Peradze, Head of the Labor Inspection Department stated.
According to him, more than 1,500 enterprises were re-inspected. The re-inspection showed good results.
''We continuously carry out surveillance and regulations and see about 20-30% decrease of fatal and non-fatal incidents at workplaces. It is a good result for one year,'' Beka Peradze said.
In Peradze's words, Georgia should develop 26 EU directives in three years. Afterward, the Georgian government should approve the guidelines in the Georgian legislation.
