Oil price falling pace slows down

Oil prices are reducing worldwide at a slow rate.

Brent oil price has dropped slightly: it amounted to $72.67 per barrel on the London market at 14:51, 0.56% lower than in the previous year.

WTI prices on the New York market have fallen by 0.38%, now reaching $70.77.

The surge in oil prices is presumably related to the upcoming OPEC+ meeting at which the countries are likely to agree on reduced quotas.

Over the last year, the US oil supplies dropped by 7.4 mln barrels, amounting to 466.7 mln barrels.
