Oil price on world markets

Following the release of oil supply data by the American Petroleum Institute (API) in the US, the price of oil on the world market stabilized during the last trading day. According to Report.ge, this is evidenced by trade market data.

Brent crude for March delivery was up by 0.08% at $ 78.73 a barrel.

WTI's February futures remained the same as during the end of the previous day's trading, falling to $ 75.98 a barrel.

The API estimates that the US oil supplies fell by 3.09 million barrels by the week ending on December 24. Analysts, meanwhile, expected the figure to fall by 3.233 million barrels. Official data on reserves in the country will be released by the US Department of Energy later.
