Oil prices worldwide

World oil prices rose on Monday morning amid declining supplies.

Brent oil futures for December delivery rose by 0.79% to $ 85.31 a barrel.

Meanwhile, WTI December futures rose by 0.98% to $ 84.58 a barrel.

Oil production fell as the number of active U.S. oil transmitters dropped by two units.

In addition, oil supplies in Cushing, Oklahoma, are rapidly approaching critically low levels.

The rise in oil prices is largely due to the fact that supply fails to meet market demand.
