Price of oil at a record high level

World oil prices have risen by about 1% in the past 24 hours. For the first time since 2018, the price of Brent-type oil has exceeded $ 79.

Brent oil futures for December delivery rose by 1.14% to $ 78.11 a barrel. November futures rose by 1.2% to $ 79.03 a barrel.

Meanwhile, WTI November futures rose by 1.23% to $ 74.89 a barrel.

It is noteworthy that the world's oil reserves are declining. In the United States, this figure is approaching the three-year low. In terms of supply, OPEC + countries are reducing production restrictions very slowly, putting pressure on global supply.

At the OPEC + meeting on September 1, the parties increased their daily production forecast for 3.28 million barrels in 2022 to 4.2 million barrels.
