Re-investment rate increases

''An increase in re-investment rate shows that foreign investors leave their profit in Georgia and create jobs,'' Georgian Economic Minister Natia Turnava said.

As Georgia's National Statistics Office reports, in the second quarter of 2020, the increase in the direct foreign investments was caused by the rise in re-investment growth.

The re-investment rate increased by 63.5% in the second quarter of 2020 and equaled 144.7 mln USD.

It is 60.8% of the total re-investments.

In Natia Turnava's words, foreign investors 'trust in' the Georgian economy and its future; they expand their production and create jobs in Georgia.
