Russia-Georgia flights will not be subsidized

According to Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister of Georgia the state in not planning to subsidize flights from Russia. Gakharia thinks that direct flights are the best tool to increase the number of tourists.

"We are not discussing subsidizing flight from Russia. Today we have about 50 points in Europe from where anyone can take direct flights", Giorgi Gakharia said.

Amid the events of Gavrilov's night and a wave of protests in Tbilisi Russian President Vladimir Putin has banned air travel between Russia and Georgia.
