According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the transit volume of the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline in 2020 amounted to 12.268 billion cubic meters of gas. The transit rate of the pipeline increased by 17.8% on an annual basis.
Azerbaijan's main pipelines carried a total of 29.611 billion cubic meters of gas last year, an increase of 7.6% compared to 2019.
41.4% of the total volume of gas transportation from Azerbaijan falls on the South Caucasus pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum.
