Turkey allocates 100 mln liras for Tbilisi Marneuli Air Base

In 2020, Turkey provided Georgia with 100 million liras (GEL 46.9 million according to today's exchange rate) for military cooperation purposes.

The amount will be spent on the modernization of the Marneuli Air Base, according to the 2020 report of the Defence and Security Committee of the Parliament of Georgia.

Within the same grant, Georgia will get military equipment made in Turkey.
