We are ready to host visitors: Natia Turnava

"Hungarian tourists may prove one of the first after the coronavirus lockdown entering our country. Today, I met with the Hungarian Ambassador, and she confirmed that Hungarian citizens immensely want to visit Georgia. Official procedures will soon be completed, and we will be prepared to host European tourists," Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava said after the meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Georgia, Victoria Horvath.

At the meeting, the parties focused on the resumption of direct flights between the two countries, the implementation of safety standards in the field of tourism, and forming the green corridor. 

The Hungarian Wizzair Company, which also operates on Georgia's market, expressed its readiness to transports tourists here.
