World oil prices fall

Ahead of the upcoming OPEC + meeting on October 1, world oil prices are falling.

Brent oil futures for December delivery fell by 0.29% to $ 78.08 a barrel.

Meanwhile, WTI November futures rose by 0.32% to $ 74.79 a barrel.

At the OPEC + meeting, which will be held next Monday, the producers will discuss whether to increase oil production by more than 400 thousand barrels per day.

At the OPEC + meeting on September 1, the parties increased their daily production forecast for 3.28 million barrels in 2022 to 4.2 million barrels.

Global demand for oil will peak by 2030 - sooner than expected, and then demand will fall sharply. This is due to the fact that more and more countries are committing to switch to clean energy sources.
