As a result of operative-investigative measures, the officers of the Investigation Service exposed one person for forging and selling official documents. The agency itself spreads the information about the crime.
The investigation established that the person exposed in the crime used the material and technical means of one of the companies in Batumi, from November 2020 to May 2021, manufactured and sold fake state number plates to various persons interested in obtaining the objects.
As a result of the investigative actions, a total of 23 units of number plate were seized with the so-called expensive combination of numbers.
The investigation is underway under the second part of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment for a term of 3 to 6 years.
