In one of the villages of Mtskheta Municipality, four people were detained on the charge of illegal deprivation of liberty in order to get married. The information is spread by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"Officers of the Police Department arrested T.N., born in 1981, Z.S., born in 1982, G.T., born in 1999, and Sh.Sh., born in 1998, on charges of unlawful deprivation of liberty. The offense carries a maximum sentence of 2 to 4 years in prison.
The investigation established that the defendants had illegally detained A.K., born on August 2, 1998, in order to marry. Law enforcement officers arrested all four persons in hot pursuit," mentions the statement.
