Fraudsters caught red-handed in Georgia

The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia has caught some fraudsters red-handed; six defendants face from 7 to 10 years in prison.

Fraudsters have reportedly created fake accounts of online casinos to which Georgians abroad had to transfer money for their family members and relatives.

In order to appropriate remittances, fraudsters hacked users' Facebook accounts and made their 14 victims transfer money to fraudulent accounts, getting hold of a total of GEL 10,500.

Charges have already been pressed against the defendants.
