Georgia man killing wife for refusing to cook sent to jail

The Kutaisi City Court has found defendant M.M., who faced charges of a gender-based murder crime, guilty. He reportedly stabbed his wife, identified only as E.K., to death in Georgia's Samtredia municipality on 23 Dec 2020 after the latter refused to make dinner for him. 

Law enforcement officers detained the offender the same day the murder was committed. 

The judge has sent him to jail for 15 years.
