Giorgi Rurua received stricter prison sentence

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the sentence for Giorgi Rurua, detained for illegal purchase and possession of firearms, will be clarified today. 

"A new article will be added to Rurua, the failure to comply with a court order and obstruction of enforcement (the action provided by Article 381, part 1). Rurua declined court ruling to take DNA and fingerprint samples. His attorneys attended the procedure provided by law," the Prosecutor General's Office stated.

The police detained Giorgi Rurua for the crime envisaged by article 236, parts 3 and 4 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which includes illegal purchase, possession, and keeping of firearms.
