The Ministry of Internal Affairs spreads information about the murder in Poti.
According to them, employees of the Detectives Division of the Samegrelo Zemo-Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative and investigative measures carried out on the hot trail, detained M.A. born in 1998, on charges of the premeditated murder of family member committed under aggravating circumstances.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 13 to 17 years in prison.
"The investigation established that the accused injured her grandmother - N.J., born in 1953, with a blunt object in the head, in a residential house in Poti, as a result of which she died.
The investigation is underway into the fact of premeditated murder committed against a family member under aggravating circumstances," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reveals.
