"N.N., born in 2004, formerly convicted in the past, was detained in Tbilisi on robbery charges," the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed report.ge.
"The investigation revealed that the accused entered the "Best Market" in Varketili, Tbilisi, on January 4, 2022, stole money from the cashier using force and hide from the scene," the agency said.
According to them, the investigation is underway under Article 178, Part 2, Subparagraph "a" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates robbery, causing significant damage.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 4 to 6 years in prison.
