The Tbilisi City Court has refused to release Giorgi Rurua from custody. The judge ruled that the risks of obstructing the investigation exist.
Giorgi Rurua was apprehended on Nov.18, over illegally purchasing, storing, and carrying firearms. He was sentenced to imprisonment. Later his charges were stiffened, with the charges of refusal to adhere to the court's ruling and obstructing adherence to it being added.
