Levan Lomidze, detained for murdering his ex-wife in Surami, has been sentenced to imprisonment. The Gori Regional Court approved the prosecutor's motion saying that there was the risk of the defendant fleeing the jurisdiction. The defendant, who also attended the trial, confessed to the crime.
