The State Inspector's service of Georgia has completed a study by the Special Penitentiary Service and the Ministry of Justice of Georgia on the legality of obtaining and disclosing the personal data of the third President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili.
According to the decision of the State Inspector, the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the Special Penitentiary Service have been assigned administrative responsibility for several episodes of administrative violation provided in Article 44 of the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection. The agency issued a statement.
