Murder in Georgia: Man stabbing woman to death for refusing sex sent to jail

The man who stabbed a woman to death in Georgia's Batumi municipality in November of 2020 has been sentenced to 17 years behind bars.

According to the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia,  Zaza Davitadze, 43, inflicted 35 stab wounds upon Tatiana Chinchiki because she refused to have sex with him. The woman left behind a little child. 

Reportedly, a friend found the deceased woman two days after her murder.

The perpetrator faces the aggravated murder charges.
