The officers of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative and investigative measures, detained I.B., born in 1998, on charges of premeditated murder, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 7 to 15 years in prison.
"The investigation established that, on February 3 of this year, I.B., during the confrontation, inflicted multiple wounds on the chest of his acquaintance - T.K., born in 1978, with a cold weapon in Tskhvarichamia and hid. T.K. died on the spot.
As a result of the investigative actions carried out by the law enforcers, the weapon of the crime - the knife - was seized as evidence.
The accused pleads guilty to the crime. The investigation into premeditated murder launched under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia," the statement said.
