The Special Penitentiary Service has released another statement, which is presented below.
"The Special Penitentiary Service defines information by different media outlets saying that inmates are being transferred to another facility after coronavirus had spread at No.14 Geguti Penitentiary Facility as false.
This information aims to stir panic and intimidate convicts' families. We do appeal to the families not to panic and media outlets to refrain from disseminating similar misinformation," the statement reads.
