The State Security Service (SSS) requested that a magistrate judge question Director-General of the Mtavari Arkhi Nika Gvaramia and journalist Giorgi Gabunia.
Giorgi Gabunia and Nika Gvaramia have stated that they would answer questions in the presence of a magistrate judge only.
The Mtavari Arkhi TV Company alleges that a man tasked by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov to eliminate journalist Gabunia was apprehended in Tbilisi.
The SSS released a statement on this issue on 15 June.
