Tbilisi City Court delivers verdict in COVID green pass case

The Tbilisi City Court has rendered its verdict after reviewing the green pass-related appeal by the NGO called Partnership for Human Rights.

The court rejected the NGO's lawsuit against the government's decision to grant permanent green passes to citizens who have had COVID and recovered from the infection. The court required that the plaintiff submit scientific evidence to corroborate the allegation that COVID-recovered people do not develop lifelong immunity.

The NGO plans to file a claim against the Tbilisi City Court's decision to the Court of Appeals.

On Dec 1, green passes were introduced in Georgia.
