Zugdidi District Court has sentenced Iasha Arnania to pretrial detention for wounding his grandchild. At the trial, the defendant said that he did not agree with the prosecution's motion for imprisonment and that he had no means to pay the bail.
"I don't even have money for the medicine", Arnania said.
82-year-old man stabbed his grandson with a knife on October 21 in Darcheli. According to the investigation, the motive for the crime was a conflict on the domestic basis. The accused was arrested at his home the same day.
