The trial of Besik Tamliani, Zurab Budagashvili, and two others arrested in connection with the June 20 case will take place at the Tbilisi City Court.
The Court will question several prosecution witnesses at today's hearing scheduled for 10:15.
"Today, we expect processes to go the same way it did before. We will be able to prove with their witnesses that Tamliani, Budagashvili, and others are not guilty, and there is no evidence against them," lawyer Vakhtang Iashvili said.
As a preventive measure Zurab Budagashvili, Besik Tamliani, Tsotne Soselia, and Kakhaber Kupreishvili detained in connection with the June 20 case remain in custody.
They received a prison sentence after being charged with participating in organized crime followed by violence and damage to property, resisting, and attacking authorities. The crime envisages from 4 to 6 years in prison.
