One day remains until the expiration of the term of imprisonment of the former Minister of Internal Affairs. Vano Merabishvili will leave Matrosov prison on February 20.
The former Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs got arrested in May 2013.
Merabishvili is serving a sentence on several cases, including the May 26, 2011 rally dispersal, the hiding of evidence in the Sandro Girgvliani case, the physical assault on Valeri Gelashvili, the Kvariati villa and voter bribery.
Merabishvili faced up to six years and nine months in prison.
