The so-called court of the de facto regime sentenced Vazha Gaprindashvili to one year and nine months in prison, David Asatiani, the Chairperson of the Bar Association, wrote on his Facebook page.
According to David Asatiani, Vladimir Khitarov, the lawyer, informed him about the verdict regarding Vazha Gaprindashvili.
"We are trying to find out the details. The Tskhinvali regime has punished him for his patriotic position," David Asatiani said.
