From Football player to Bishop - the road of Giuseppe Pasotto

Giuseppe Pasotto arrived from Italy to Georgia in the early 90s.

He had to go through a difficult path before becoming a bishop. First was Kutaisi, then Tbilisi, which went through a civil war.

The language barrier also created difficulties; however, he soon learned Georgian and restored the old Catholic church in Tbilisi. Today, Giuseppe Pasotto is the head of the Catholic Church in Tbilisi.
