Archil Talakvadze, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia responded to the conflict that took place outside the Georgian Dream office. Talakvadze noted that any violent incident should be prevented and the state should take appropriate measures.
“Protests must remain peaceful. In the future, precautionary measures should be taken against those groups that provoke this type of conflict to prevent risky actions in advance. I ask our fellow citizens to return to peaceful protests. Politicians will continue consultations and the situation will stabilize very soon", Talakvadze said.
A physical confrontation between representatives of the ruling party's youth organization and civil activists took place at the office of the Georgian Dream yesterday.
