Chairperson of Parliament: 'they aimed at destroying ballot papers'

Archil Talakvadze, the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, said that protesters most likely intended to storm the CEC building to destroy election ballot papers.

"In all likelihood, they aimed at destroying ballot papers. This happened at night. After destroying ballot papers, those people would say that they were no longer available at the central office, and new elections must be conducted," Talakvadze declared.
