The First Deputy Minister and Deputy Ministers of Education, Science, Culture and Sports have reportedly had their authority revoked in accordance with the Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia's order.
The Order was issued on Nov 13, when new Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Mikheil Chkenkheli was appointed to the post replacing Mikheil Batiashvili.
The First Deputy Minister Irine Abuladze and Deputy Ministers Levan Kharatishvili, Shalva Gogoladze and Badri Maisuradze were also removed from their posts on the basis of the PM's order.
