Elene Khoshtaria, the leader of Droa, addresses the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, and calls on her to veto the law on common courts, as well as the initiative to abolish the State Inspector's Service.
"I want to respond with extreme protest to the disturbing initiatives of the Georgian Dream. The Georgian Dream has launched three very alarming processes amid a deep political crisis and a quiet period in their view.
The first is the abolition of the State Inspector Service, the second is the amendments to the law on common courts, and the third is the rule of electing the CEC Chairperson and members. All three legislative initiatives are a very open demonstrative attack on institutions - an act of state seizure," said Elene Khoshtaria.
Elene Khoshtaria will meet with the representatives of the diplomatic corps to discuss the same issues. The meeting will take place tomorrow, December 30, at 12:00.
