European Council President visits Tbilisi

President of the European Council, Charles Michel, is in Tbilisi.

Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani, EU Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell, and Georgian Ambassador to the EU Natali Sabanadze met him in the airport.

Charles Michel will meet with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, and Speaker of Parliament Archil Talakvadze.

He will also visit the occupation line and later open a new EU Delegation office to Georgia.

Besides, meetings with leaders of opposition parties are ahead.

The visit will end on March 2.
