Ex-president Saakashvili: From this moment on, I refuse all kinds of treatment

Georgian ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili refuses to be subject to treatment or medical tests related to his hunger strike. Saakashvili's lawyer Dimitri Sadzaglishvili read his statement.

''From this moment on, I refuse all kinds of treatment, analysis, mobile intensive care services, and tests. I will take those medications only, which will not be anyhow connected to the hunger strike. This will continue before the meeting room will be rearranged again, and I enjoy my procedural rights,'' Saakashvili's statement reads.

The lawyer said that the administration built the dividing wall between the prisoner and the visitor entirely to prevent contact entirely.

Mikheil Saakashvili was detained on 1 October. He declared a hunger strike 27 days ago.
