Fifth visit of the North Atlantic Council has ended

The NATO North Atlantic Council delegation has left Batumi. The Deputy Secretary General of NATO was accompanied by Georgian Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani and Chairman of the Adjara Government Tornike Rizhvadze at the airport.

Davit Zalkaliani elaborated upon the fifth visit of the North Atlantic Council with journalists.

“For two days, we’ve heard positive evaluations only on Georgia’s NATO integration course and the defence and security reforms implemented by our country for the purposes of strengthening our stability and political reforms.

Talks on strengthening democratic institutions were equally important, and in this Georgian Government is consistent. We do continue further activities to integrate Georgia within NATO,” declared David Zalkaliani.
