Georgia suspends transiting cargos to Azerbaijan and Armenia

''The Georgian government has temporarily suspended issuing permits for transiting military cargos in Azerbaijan and Armenia's direction via land and air routes,'' Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani said.

In his words, Georgia fully meets all other international transit freights.

''For the military operations underway between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Georgia's government swiftly made critical steps when the conflict began; namely, it suspended issuing permits for transiting military cargos in both directions. We informed our partners about it,'' Zalkaliani stated.

''We remain in close contact with them,'' he added.
