Georgian politician says opposition to make compromised steps shortly

"We have reasonable expectations that in the coming days, the opposition parties will make a compromised step," leader of the parliamentary majority Mamuka Mdinaradze said.

He says the opposition parties are preparing to put forward concrete proposals.

"These proposals, as we said recently, will be really compromised, pragmatic, and they can be discussed," he said.

As he says, there are questions that cannot be discussed.

"However, after some vows are fulfilled, we may talk about them,'' he added.

"Though, there are issues that can be discussed without paying attention to these vows; for example, electoral reform," Mdinaradze said.
