Gharibashvili, Ghebreyesus have phone conversation

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili has had a telephone conversation with WHO Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. The Administration of the Government has provided Report News Agency with this information. 

Mr. Gharibashvili said that Georgia is involved with active negotiations with its international partners and vaccine producers to get additional vaccine doses in the shortest possible time. In his phone talk with Mr. Ghebreyesus, the Georgian prime minister stressed the significance of the WHO's assistance in the process. The parties discussed the status quo in Georgia and worldwide and assessed the vaccination process.

At the end of the phone conversation, Mr. Gharinbashvili thanked the WHO chief for his support and assistance.
