Gia Volski at on ministerial: Georgian laws should not be violated

"It is our primary responsibility to be true to our laws," Gia Volski, the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, said about holding the Council of Europe Ministerial in Tbilisi.

"There are various options that we are discussing, and at the end of the day, we are going to announce them. Of course, Georgian laws should not be violated, but moving it from Tbilisi is not an alternative. We must reaffirm our authority as the head of the international forum," Volski stated.

Whether the meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, will take place in May or not will be announced today. Davit Zalkaliani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, told reporters in Geneva.
