Gigi Ugulava: We must bring this to an end now

A leader of the European Georgia party Gigi Ugulava has responded to the parliamentary majority's decision by saying that 'the Georgian Dream was scared of being left alone.'

"The boycott is going on, with our requirements being left unchanged: snap elections and Giorgi Rurua's release from prison. Our boycott is yielding its results: other political prisoners have been freed. In a nutshell, as they used to say, the Kremlin has retreated, and we must bring this to an end now," Ugilava wrote on the social media.

The Georgian Dream ruling party refused to terminate the mandates of 51 opposition MPs.
