Within his official visit in Turkey, Georgian PM Giorgi Gakharia met with Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay and Head of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Sentof.
The parties focused on amicable relations and strategic partnership and the necessity to deepen trade and economic relations between the two countries.
Mr. Gakharia was also hosted in the legislative body of Turkey by Head of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Sentof. They discussed significant bilateral issues and productive cooperation with the legislative body of Georgia from the part of the Turkey.
The important role by Georgia and Turkey for ensuring stability in the region was also stressed. Turkey once again underscored its support of Georgia's territorial integrity.
