Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has responded to his meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili by publishing a social media post, saying that Azerbaijani and Georgian people are linked with centuries-old friendship.
''A centuries-old good neighborly relations and friendship constitute the foundation of the relations between Azerbaijani and Georgian people. This serves as the best possible basis to develop our relations, in which we have so far succeeded,'' Ilham Aliev wrote.
